Substance Dependency Assessments
Substance dependency assessments may be required for legal proceedings or foster/adoptive processes. The components of this assessment include a history taking, the Diagnostic Manual (DSM-5), and the Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventories (SASSI-4). The process includes two 55-minute sessions over the course of 2 weeks. During the second week, a letter including diagnostic impressions, recommendations, and referrals will be available to the client and the appropriate parties.
